Living More Sustainable

Earth day, it isn't just one day.

Minimise Waste and Plastic Consumption

While the idea of eliminating plastic from our lives as cyclists is appealing, it's not a simple task. However, we're here to assist you in taking the initial steps because we believe that collective small actions are crucial in effecting change.

Recycle & Reuse

Most of the plastic stuff we use every day is thrown away after just one use. Paying attention to how much single-use plastic you use and switch to reusable options.

You can do this by using your water bottle. About 20 billion plastic bottles are thrown away each year. It's better to carry a reusable, eco-friendly water bottle in your bag and fill it with tap water. Even looking towards longer lasting like titanium and steel bottles.

Replace

Rather than discarding products, consider repairing them to extend their lifespan and help protect the environment sustainably.

Did you know we provide a repair and repurpose service for all our products?

It Should Go The Distance

Cycling gear should go the distance, not just in performance but in how long it lasts. At Label Collective, we design our products with durability in mind. High-quality fabrics, careful construction, and thoughtful design choices all contribute to a longer lifespan. This reduces the need for frequent replacements and cuts down on overall waste. When you invest in gear built to last, you're already making a more sustainable choice.

The next step is what happens after the ride. We encourage all customers to reuse, repair, or repurpose their kit whenever possible. Small repairs, like replacing a zip or re-stitching a seam, can extend the life of your jersey or bib shorts by seasons. We also offer repair services for selected items, keeping your gear on the road instead of in landfill.

Recycling plays a key role in the lifecycle of our products. Many of our materials, like ECONYL® regenerated nylon, are made from waste such as ocean plastics and discarded textiles. By using recycled fabrics, we reduce the demand for virgin resources and help close the loop on production. We are also exploring take-back programmes to make end-of-life recycling easier for our customers.

Sustainability is not just about how products are made. It is also about what happens next. With every wear, repair, and reuse, you help shift the culture of cycling toward one that values longevity over excess.
